There's a lady I work with that gets on my ever last effing nerve. She's an older nurse, works full time at two jobs and one prn job(safe right?). All of her kids are grown a** adults(older than 25) and she basically fully supports all of them, pays all of their car insurance, pays one of their house payments, takes care of three of their dogs, and gives one an allowance because he blows all of his money, she also pays his rent. Then goes around the unit and talks s**t about everyone she works with. Really woman? You need to take the bottle away from your kids, make them grow up and take care of themselves, and stop bitching about never having money, because we all know where it's going. She commentates her life at work, like b***h I don't need a play by play of what smells in what patients room or how improperly made the coffee is or who missed the trash can, no one gives a s**t. I don't think I dislike her because she enables her kids(which I'm against by the way) I think it's because I would never make my mom work 30-12 hour shifts in a row(she sleeps during them sometimes) to support me. I put myself through school so she didn't have to worry about me. Another thing that gets me is that she will go into your patients charts and look at your charting, then write you up for missing charting a vital sign or an I&O. You'd better believe if she writes me up for that I'm reporting her to HIPPA, taking pics that are time stamped of her sleeping at work, and getting her fired. She wants to start petty crap she's gonna get a dose of her own medicine from someone a third of her age.
