How long does it normally take the average couple to conceive after the pill? I've been on it 6yrs and stopped in July xx

I was on the pill 6 years, stopped taking it in July. I didn't have a period from September 9th until AF finally showed up again on Thanksgiving day. Hoping December will be our month! Good luck to you!

Still waiting.... Currently on 12th cycle TTC after coming off the pill. Everyone is different. Although hard not to, it's best not to compare yourself with others.

My doctor told me you are the MOST fertile the first three months after you get off the pill! I got my BFP after being off the pill for 1.5 months! (On the pill for 5 years.) good luck!

It can be quick for some but for others it can take a while. I've been off the pill for 6 months and still no AF yet. Doc says that my body needs longer to adjust to start ovulating again. Saying that a good friend of mine conceived within one month of stopping the pill and they now have a gorgeous daughter. Everyone's different xx

I was on the pill on and off since 2009 and I just got off it to get pregnant two months ago and I got my BFP two days ago!

I got off the pill in March after 8 or so years in March, my period went straight back to normal but now the last three months they have been all over the place and very irregular.. It can take up to a year for your body's hormones to re adjust and get back to normal again, but everyone is different!

I went off April 23, ovulated may 23 and found out we were pregnant June 3. For other people it's different though. Mine ended in a MC so were still TTC now. And I was on it for 12 years and got pregnant on it 6 years ago with our son when I didn't know antibiotics could make it not work.

Everybody's different. But they say it usually takes up to 3 months when your periods become regular. If you have regular periods it shouldn't take that long. Good luck! ?
