Discharge or fluid??

Today all of a sudden between my thighs I felt wet, like I was leaking so I checked and my panties were a little wet kinda sticky and my thighs and area were too, then maybe 20 min later a little more came out, I'm 26 weeks, he's really active right now, but I know it's not pee, it was sticky, what do u think this is? I'm not leaking fluid am I?

My water broke At 29 weeks with twins. I was given steroids and antibiotics by iv and hospitalized until I gave birth. They will do a swab to see if it's amniotic but from what you have described I'm 99% sure it is

It could be amino. Best to be checked. BUT don't freak out just yet! With my first I had fluid leak and went to er.. They stuck some thing up there and tested it. And it was negative for amino. They told me it is common for excess discharge. A friend of mine lost 2 cups of discharge (gross right) and went to the hospital and it wasn't amino either. ALWAYS best to check. But don't stress it yet.

That's amniotic fluid. Please go get checked ASAP. As long as your baby continues to produce enough you should be ok. But you may need antibiotics. And be hospitalized

As long as it's clear I think your ok. You lose your mucus plug a lot towards the end but it doesn't mean you're actually in labor because the mucus plug rebuilds itself. If you start seeing blood don't wait to head to the er though.
