Possibly pregnant?

So my period is usually pretty regular, I start the same time every month but this month I'm late. I'm cramping like I would when I'm about to start my period but I haven't started, has this happened to any other women? I've never been pregnant before so I have no idea what I should or shouldn't be feeling really. I've been trying to get pregnant and I've been having sex regularly and even multiple times a day so I would be happy if I was. I just don't know if it would be too early to take a test or what?
