What exactly are Hemmroids? & how do you know you have them?

I don't know what they are exactly but it's like a little bubble that comes out right on your anus and it is super painful, sometimes throbbing, and bleeds. It's a terrible thing ? you can feel it if it's on the outside of your anus. It's extremely tender to the touch. Hope this helps
