Visiting your Ob/gun

Hey ladies! This may be silly but I have no idea, I have my yearly apt on Wednesday with my doctor and I started my period early but a few days! Should I call and cancel or is my    Gyno okay with it? Mind you my flow is lite, it won't look like a masked murdered was in there as well, thanks!
