Attracted to my bestfriend

My bestfriend since 2 grade has told me he wants to have sex and I've been wanting to for the longest but I dot want it to end up as a relationship thing because that would mess everything that we have up but then again I'm very attracted to him and I really just want to get this out of the way and have sex with him should I?
