Burning / pain

I recent had sex and afterward it started to burn kinda hurt afterward like really badly. It felt better after I used the bathroom. That never happened before. But I'm not sure is that normal or not. I think it could be a bacteria infection and I dnt want my mom know that I had sex then she be all in my business. ( it was unprotected sex )
