Difference between spinal and epidural
My first son was born by emergency c-section, and I was put under general anasthetic. I had had 8 (!) epidurals and they hadn't worked, so when it became an emergency that they get him out fast, they needed to put me completely under.
This time, I'm having a planned c-section, and the doctor told me that they will do a spinal instead of an epidural.
Has anybody had experience with both? What are the differences that you've noticed?
