Do gas and diarrhea cause cramps?

I woke up this morning with the immediate need to go poop. I can't believe how bad I had to go. I also have lots of built up gas. I started to feel some minor cramps and was curious if the gas could cause that?

I had the same thing happen today, and I'm sure it's tmi but during pregnancy I'm normally constipated, so this kinda freaked me out! I'm 15 weeks, how far along are you?

Yes it can. Can be quite painful too. I get built up gas and it hurts

yes! Upset stomach can cause cramps.
