Do you think smoking pot while pregnant is ok?

I read an article about a doctor who went to Jamaica to study women you were pregnant and smoked.. Turned out that they used if for when they got nauseas and it help but also helped with the children.. It said that there children turned out smart or above average then women who don't smoke while pregnant... Never smoked but thought the article was interesting...

I've read the article as well and it wasn't that they smoked pot they made tea and edibles with it and took it in capsules. Smoking anything is bad for you but using pot medically for symptoms of pregnancy such as pain and nausea can be very helpful. It's not altered with chemicals and is natural. I'd rather use it medically while pregnant than to take some pill that I have no idea what the inactive ingredients are. I'd rather know exactly what my baby and I are getting.

I think people need to open their eyes. Weed is a natural medicine. It's side effects make you feel happy relieve pain cause deep thought and so much more. There are hardly any negative side effects. Of course if you over indulge you can feel dizzy but even that gets better within an hour or two. However in moderation it could replace most pain meds anti depressants anti inflamatory meds and radiation and chemotherapy.  It's amazing how many different things it treats! And let's be honest it's not a drug it is a plant. Same way people use garlic for heart health and peppermint for nausea ect.ect. the only reason why it is illegal is because pharmaceutical companies can't compete with it. They loose money if it is legal.
