Cheaper IUI
I just wanted to post this for those like me who think IUI has to be crazy expensive. It does NOT. Where I go a round of IUI is $380 WITHOUT insurance. (In wv) I went to my first RE appointment and he talked about the levels of care when he got to IUI I said " Stop right there! We can't afford IUI if Clomid doesn't work we are done. "
To my surprise he told me about the price and I asked " HOW!!!" He said he knows a lot of other places close to us charge upwards of $1000.00 but because this Fertility Clinic is connected to a major College and because the dr that work there are more interested in helping people become families they only charge this small fee.
I suggest looking for Fert clinics connect to teaching hospitals or colleges and checking out prices or any fert clinic you are willing to drive to. You might be able to save crazy amounts of money on IUI by Dr shopping.
I for one would go here after that speech just because It made me really believe they really want to help us.
