Don't use your teeth

Do play with the balls hands or mouth (depends on you)

Don't let him force himself in your mouth with his hand on the back of your head

Taste depends on the person could be salty or it could be sweet

If you've never done it then just try a few different things and ask him what he likes. It's easiest to just lick all over it or make your tongue go in circles around the tip. I guess it's like eating a Popsicle? It tastes bad if he's sweaty but if he just took a shower it tastes like nothing.
