Natural pregnancy, clomid, now IVF?

Hey ladies! I am hoping someone has been through a similar situation. Hubby and I got pregnant in 2012, naturally, had a mc at 6-7 weeks. We got pregnant again in 2013, mc again at 6-7 weeks. Both times we got pregnant within 3 months of TTC. Now we have been trying since April. No luck. Doctor put me on clomid because he doesn't think I'm ovulating. He take my blood on CD19 to test my progesterone and that's how he came up with the idea of me not ovulating. Well this month would be 6 months on clomid and I've only got a high progesterone sample 1 time in 6 months. So basically my dr is saying I've only ovulated once since April. They told me there is not much else they can do and they're wanting me to do IVF, is it too soon? Does this seem right to yall? Help please!!

My sister went through the exact same thing. Two miscarriages and then no pregnancies after that. She did IVF and now has 2 beautiful twin girls ?

No it does not seem right. You can do IUIs with a bunch of combinations of injectables before moving on to Ivf especially if your only problem seems to be ovulation. Get a second opinion.

There is another medicine out there, Letrozole, that many people use.  Or even an IUI first? Did your doc say why they want to skip all the other options?

I'd get a second opinion and tests from that second opinion. iVF is like the last option and he is jumping from A-Z and missing out on the other letters of the alphabet of makes sense (the other letters being other tests and options)

He just told me that they have tried everything. I am getting a second opinion at a fertility specialist :)
