Pregnant and telling SO

How to Tell SO you are pregnant when it wasn't planned? Upset &emotional but excited all at once. I already have a 3 yr old from a past relationship. And me and my current SO live together but I am afraid to tell him. Just not sure how to bring it up! Any suggestions ? Thank you!!!
