Different Methods of Birth Control

Hi there! I'm 20 years old and a student not looking to have children for a while. I'm currently on the Yasmin 28 pill but it's decreasing my sex drive to absolutely nothing. I'm going to talk to my gynecologist in February but I'm really scared to change. Before I was on my current pill, I was on Alesse 28 and had such bad depression and suicidal thoughts. Does anyone know any alternatives to the pill or a pill that they really like? I know everyone has different side effects due to how their body responds to it, but I'd like some opinions before I go so I can do some research. ☺
