Should I have a kid or adopt when I'm older?

My boyfriend wants me to have 2 but I think it would hurt really bad and I could die or the baby could die. And I could get stretch marks

Stretch marks are a reason to not have kids? Pain is a reason to not have kids? Kids are worth all of that an more. If you feel this way maybe you just shouldn't or you should wait until you can realize how amazing having a child is

If you're not willing to go through a little bit of pain or risk getting stretch marks then you shouldn't have children. A mom would risk her life for her child and you're worried about stretch marks?!

Don't think about having kids until your fear of stretch marks subsides because until then you are not mature enough to handle a pregnancy or motherhood...

Umm...stretch marks is last of your concerns when your thinking of the blessing a child is. I wouldn't take back a single mark from having my previous lil boy. Although adopting is great too, make sure your doing it for the right reasons, not because you don't want stretch marks..

Your clearly not ready for a child if your worried about stretch marks or pain yea it's gonna hurt get over it and I don't hear many stories of people who die when they have a baby yes I know it happens and there are many factors to cause that but it's not common so before you bring a child into this world if it's made by you or you adopt please grow up and change your priorities because your clearly not ready

You could die driving a car. You could die excercising. You could die in a plane crash. Hell, you could choke on your food and die. You COULD die from just about anything. If that is what really really scares you then think about adoption.

It does hurt but the second the baby's out and they are placing them on your chest and you see your baby for the first time it all goes away. I've had 2 kids one of them was induced and I had no pain relief two failed epidurals with the first and the second decided he wanted to come out as soon as they were done placing the epi so no time for the meds to kick in next time I will just go all natural. And as far as the stretch marks go, I have them and proud of them. Some women get them some don't but it's not the end of the world. To me that is such a petty thing to worry about. That being said there are lots of children that don't have families and need them so do whatever you feel is right for you.

I don't think you should consider having a baby (or adopting) until you're in a more committed relationship.
