Secrets to being a single mother??

How do single mothers do it alone? Afford childcare so you can continue to work bc otherwise you wouldn't have a job, deal with judgement from people and actually raise a child on your own? Seriously, what is the secret?

I supported my best friend when her parents wouldn't- we put her back in school and got loans and government assistance. Found a very good, very cheap Mother's Day out program with a church that would take her during school and now she's an RN, works nights and provides for her family of four (soon to be 5). It can be done- better than you'd expect. I'd say the BEST place to get any kind of help is reaching out to a church- it takes some guts and humility but it's for the good of your child and it does help a ton! Good luck!
