Ovulation question?

Okay I might be asking a dumb question, but it confuses me how Glow says I ovulate for 4-7 days but I google "how long does ovulation last" and the result is: the egg only lives for 24 hours

How am I fertile for 4-7 days if the egg only lives for 24 hours?

4-7 is fertile days. Generally sperm live a few days so if you're in your fertile window and you have sex day 1 but don't ovulate till day 3-4 you could still get preg.

I think it's a window. U could ovulate at some point during those days but yes it's only one day.
