Spotting after sex

It only lasted about 4-5 hours after unprotected sex. We had sex on the 2nd and the 4th. On the 2nd i thought i was starting my period and it went away and i was still thinking it was just my period gearing up and about to go all Carrie on me. So on the 4th when i started spotting i still thought it was my period, but then about 3 hours later it went away. And now I'm totally confused. There was no pain. No symptoms of any kind. I guess I'm just gonna wait it out and see if AF shows up. Just wanted to know if anyone else has dealt with this?
