Loosing weight while pregnant?

Im 4 weeks and 4 days pregnant, I've lost about 10 pounds. My appetite has changed since then, is my being pregnant causing me to loose weight?

Very common in first trimester to lose weight espically if dealing with morning sickness. I read somewhere that as long as you don't lose 10% of body weight that u should be fine. But if u are underweight it's less and overweight is more. If ur concerned call ur doc and talk to them about it.

Only if you've been vomiting shoyld the pregnancy cause you to lose weight. Or if you're so nauseous you aren't eating.

I rarely puke. But I have such bad nausea that I can't eat. I have lost 7 pounds in 3 weeks

I lost weight my first trimester, food adversions, no more beer or alcohol, eating better for the baby. It just happens but I turned to carbs and now I'm gaining all of it back haha

I had a friend that had that happen and she ended up having a misscarriage I'm not trying to scare you because I DONT think that's what is happening but id call your doctor they just may want to do a check up to make sure you're healthy for the little nugget ur growing :)

Yes probably just due to being pregnant. By 10 weeks I lost 18lbs however I'm 13 weeks now and have stayed pretty constant since then (haven't gained or lost more than 1 lb or so). The funny part about that is I've been throwing up *more* in the last couple weeks than I ever was when I was losing weight! I'm also not eating more so idk what it is. I have been excruciatingly constipated though and the baby is growing so it's probably not because I'm doing anything much differently! Especially considering the major difference is being sick more often. Just for reference pre-pregnancy I was 227-228 and now I'm about 209-210 and 5'3.5'' so definitely overweight. My doctor says losing weight is a good thing. If you are not overweight your doctor might feel differently.
