Am i bad mum already?!

I physically can not take tablets, I can't take my tablets I need to, perentals, is that bad of me? Am I horrible?!

No. But why can't you take them?

If you can't take them because they are making you sick- take them before bed (that's what I do so I don't feel sick during the day). You can also try food based prenatals because they are easier on your stomach.

If you physically can't swallow them you can find the gummy versions which are a lot easier. Or you can even take children's vitamins but up the dosage.

I'm the same way. Can't swallow a pill to save my life. But there are lots of great chewable, liquid, gummy, gel and dissolvable Prenatals out there (search online). And if you can't find everything you want in one, you can combine several (like I do) to get the right combo.  For example, I have a chewable vitamin, dissolvable folic acid and gel Omega 3+D. I'm about to add a choline as well. It takes a bit of extra work, but soooo much better than fighting to swallow one horse pill for everything!

I am a *terrible* pill-taker, and I tend to choke on them, so I've taken the gummy prenatals (I took gummy vitamins before) and it's been a success. Some are a bit sour which helped me with my morning sickness.

My doctor said if you're having a hard time taking the prenatals in the first trimester then at least go buy 1mg folic acid tablets, they are tiny and much easier to swallow. You should be taking prenatals if you are in second trimester though, try gummies as mentioned on here, though where I am from doesn't really have them and I had to order them on Amazon

No, you're an amazing mom :) it's normal. You can let your doc know and they'll find another way or you can buy gummy prenatals at Walmart or Walgreens. It's not nesciasarry to take them. You can get te same vitamins that are in your tablets if you eat them in your daily normal food. Chin up :)

It's normal for some to bot take them. Mine have been making me very sick no matter when I take them and I have the gummies. My stepmom also couldn't take hers with my sister. She would throw it up every time she took them. Doesn't makes you a bad mom because it doesn't agree with you.

I was too sick to take my prenatals after 9 weeks, and I had the gummies.. I just could not do it, and my baby is perfectly fine :)

You could try drinking smoothies with folic acid and whatever other vitamins you need. Spinach and kale are great for smoothies, add in whatever fruits you like, some yogurt and juice, flaxseed, chia seeds, etc. Prenatals are basically for people who don't already get the right vitamins in their diet already (though it doesn't hurt to get extra of some of them, even if you do get those vitamins from food). Look up what foods have folic acid, iron, dha, etc if you want to try to do that; otherwise like others have suggested, there are gummy prenatals that taste pretty good :)
