TTC: Help!

Hello. My husband and I are TTC its been about a year already and nothing yet. Lately I have been really nauseous and so has he. But I don't know if I am or not. I haven't had a period since Aug but I took pregnancy tests and all come back negative. Is it possible to ovulate and not have a period? My friend keeps telling me "miracles happen"... Help me !
