I feel like a little jealousy is healthy because it shows you're afraid to lose the other person. I think it only becomes a problem when it causes the person to be possessive and it becomes an unhappy relationship.

0! Jealousy isn't a positive emotion. Weather you're self conscious or the biggest confident bum ever it's simply not a good thing. 
You can't truly enjoy yourselves if you're 24/7 paying attention to every other being.
