Pregnant with low progesterone??

Question

Hi ladies just wondered if anyone has any experience of low progesterone. Been told I have levels that are half of what they should be and I have a short luteal phase. Been TTC for 18months and have had 2 miscarriages....feeling really low ?
 2 friends  have announced their happy accident babies this week and feel like the universe has it in for me!

I am 14 weeks right now and I have low progesterone. I will be starting the makena injections at 16 weeks and will get one a week until 36 weeks. It is definitely possible to get pregnant and stay pregnant with low levels. Just be on top of it so your doctors are aware. Low progesterone can lead to premature babies, like my son. Don't give up hope just because of low levels! Good luck and sending baby dust your way!

Someone who claimed to have left a tampon in for 3 weeks??! Gross and there doesn't seem much practical info on here? I've also just looked how to send a PM but??? Where are u in your cycle? I'm from the UK, but live in the US at the moment!!!! I know precisely your fears about your GP. Although I think the NHS is good, there are some big flaws, and things outside the box are one of them (meaning people like us!!) I'm a healthy weight also, and so didn't expect anything like this. 
I have been taking progesterone after I ovulate for about 8months. It's interesting!!!! Ha! Haven't had any success from it yet! I haven't tried acupuncture yet, but we have talked about if I should. I am seeing my doctor this week.

You've made smile ? I have an appointment with my GP on Tuesday he's going to refer us to the fertility clinic. Although we've been trying for over two years have had a lot going on...we've lived abroad gone back to uni etc and always assumed it would just happen for us naturally so have only just started seeking treatment.
Im going to ask for for progesterone pessaries when I see my GP but I know in the UK they are quite difficult to get hold of...might have to go private? Have been having acupuncture and are taking more herbs and vitamins than I can name! Argh! When you read about low progesterone and oestrogen dominance everything paints a picture of women who are overweight, stressed and don't exercise but I'm a healthy weight and look after myself so what can I change?? Just ordered some progesterone cream from
The USA so will have to see how that goes I guess ?xx

I have low progesterone and a short Luteal phase. 
I am sorry for you feeling so low. I have also had a miscarriage. We have been trying for 2 + years. It's hard to watch everyone else have accident babies, or have a baby first try. I haven't found much help or support for low progesterone and short L phase. And I've really looked.
