Will you baptize your child?

Nope, I don't understand how someone could think an innocent baby will go to hell if you don't pour "holy water" on their heads. We are not born sinners. That is a choice you make when you get to the age of knowing the difference between right and wrong.

We believe in believer's baptism. So if my child made a profession of faith and showed a desire to be baptized, then yes, I would support their baptism!

I wasn't forced. I made that choice as a teenager. Baptism is dedicating your life. Its not fair to dedicate their life to something without making that choice on their own. This is my opinion.

No. We will not push any religion on our children. When they get older they can choose whatever religion speaks to them. I don't think it's right to teach a child what is "correct" when there are so many different beliefs in this world.

No, we'll be having a naming ceremony as its in keeping with our beliefs and will just be used as a way to welcome and introduce the little one in to the family.
We have mentioned this to various people and on more than one occasion got the response 'why don't you just do it in a church?' Lol.

My children will get to choose when they are baptized, and in my religion, we don't baptize until 8... So I hope my children will want to then!! (I'm sure they will haha ;D)

I don't believe in infant baptism, but my in laws do, they would like my baby christened and I will allow it, I'm Christian, but I believe baptism is and adult decision that declares you believe in Christ

I feel like my in laws are just pushing what they believe is best
