Any pcos success pregnancy stories? ?

Losing hope.. I've been married 8 yrs and still no baby.  I never got the courage to go see a doctor up until now .. And i come to find out I have pcos.. obgyn thinks I might not be ovulating but still wants me to try on my own for 3 months.  If still no bfp then she wants me to return by March for clomid. ... 
Had never heard of this syndrome until now. Will I ever get prego? ?? :(
I'm devastated.  And sad. But a bit hopeful. 
Perhaps Seeing that me and my hubby throughout the years would just have  causal sex and not really time , Temp, take opks,,etc..maybe i kept missing my fertile window???
.. i don't know .
.. i would also like to point out i have periods every month .  They are irregular. But they're there. My cycles can one day be 21 days .. and other times 28.. 
any Advice would be greatly appreciate .. ,:)

My friend has PCOS and she had a baby girl last year. A fertility monitor (like Clear Blue Fertility Monitor) might be helpful for you if you are irregular. Good luck!

I was diagnosed with PCOS a few months ago, my RE said not to waste money on OPKs because they won't be accurate. He did an HSG test which was super important because both of my tubes were blocked (he was able to easily clear them out during HSG). I am taking femara and ovidrel trigger shots, this is my second cycle. This time I got a very faint positive, but they think it is a chemical...but still the first positive I've had in 6 years!! There is hope, the good news is that you have an answer and now can take steps to fix it!  Idk if I agree with your doctor, maybe see if you can see an RE instead of waiting another 3 months....you have already been trying on your own for awhile...good luck!!! ;)

Start tracking your LH surge with at home ovulation kits. Amazon has some cheap ones. Only way to be sure if you've ovulated.
