Are they wrong to fire her?

I've heard about this woman that sued her employer for firing her because she refused to give out birth control, plan B, and also would refuse to perform abortions, because she didn't believe that they were right, but she was working at a clinic that was there for the women who needed/wanted this stuff. 
I personally think the clinic had every right to let her go because the job itself would openly say that she'd have to do these things, and that by refusing to do her job she is in the wrong, but what do you guys think? Does she have a good reason to sue?

Why would she take the job in the first place, knowing she would have to do things that go against her beliefs. Looks like she wanted to get fired, just so she could sue.

Regardless of beliefs she failed to preform the duties of her job. They are within their rights to terminate her employment. In Iowa employers don't need a reason to fire you they can just say it's not working out and that's it.

The woman probably took the job she knew she wouldn't do specifically to sue (and hurt women in the process that rely on this clinic.)

So many will do anything to hurt women that don't live life by their religion and their absurd standards... screw her, I hope she never finds a job.

I am STRINGLY against abortion and abortifacients. Therefore, I would never work at Planned Parenthood or any other such place. If you don't want to perform abortions or hand out birth control, don't take a job that requires you to do so. It's that simple. They had every right to fire her.

The question was confusing. I mean you asked a few with conflicting answers. They are completely right to fire her. She took the job with a full understanding that the main function of the clinic was to give out birth control/perform abortions. She most likely took the job KNOWING she'd get fired for refusing to do the functions of her job description just so she could sue to make a point and get attention.  The lady is rediculous.

Some people are just sue-happy & believe their situations are special. They don't want responsibility for their actions and want people to bend over backwards for them & their belief system. What a strange job to accept if it went against her personal morals & beliefs.
