Do you qualify for the Earned Income Tax Credit?

Helping my friend plan for taxes and came across this. Great tax credit for low income families. Thought it might help out some people.

I don't know how to get it but I apply. Married with no kids. One job, less than half the qualified number on there a year. I think they should help out the poor before they worry about the rich... or just take the money from the big companies for it.

I used to but I may not this year from what that looks like. :( Sucks cause I bust my ass to run the household and get no help from her father.

I don't qualify, but I did just read that the credit is on the chopping block by the Republican Party. Instead they are proposing a permanent tax cut to large corporations.
