How long should you hold in ejaculate after sex?

I know of course the egg needs to be in the right place at the right time to be fertilized, but does holding it in with legs or hips raised actually make a difference or are we just wanting to feel like we are doing everything we possibly can?

I've heard that elevating your hips doesn't do much but laying for at least 5 min afterwards does help.

I do it just incase, it never hurts to give the sperm a little extra time to get to a safe place ? lol

When we where trying everyone said put up hips up straight after so I did. Ended in a miscarriage. 
Then we said if it happens it happens but I still did the ovulation test. Well my SO was so tied that night it was just a quicky we both rolled over and went to sleep I was so mad at him. But then I became pregnant from that day. Now almost 13 weeks :)

It dont matter!  You dont have to lay. Raise the hips. Stand on you head. Trust me enough sperm gets up there were its suppose to be!

Lay still or slightly elevated afterwards for about 20 minutes and then I hold in my pee for a bit. I mean to me it makes sense that if you stand immediately somethings going to leak out.

I've read in various sites it makes no difference, I usually lay there for a bit anyway
