Do you have tattoos as a parent?

I was wondering if anyone out there has had problems as a tattooed parent? I am heavily tattooed and have no children presently. But what I have kids obviously I cannot remove them nor do I want to? I have heard that other parents judge you or think your bad because of them. I am also concerned about when I have kids my kids using them against me or not understanding. Help!

I have a ton of tattoos. Full sleeve, ribs done, my back, a half sleeve and purple hair. My kids don't recall new looking differently. They know this is just the way I look. I have great kids, my oldest is in 1st grade and had straight A's and reads at 3rd grade level. The twins are 4 and can read and write already. My looks have nothing to do with the kind of parent i am. Plus, I'm a RN. I've never had anyone say anything negative to me

i only have two but I plan on getting more and I would tell those parents as well as my own children, when done properly and safely, tattoos are a beautiful work of art and should be celebrated not condemned. They are a form of self expression and love and symbolize so many wonderful and meaningful things. and if anyone wants to judge me for having them or thinking this way, they can kiss it!

This question is hard to answer. I said no because I myself don't have a tattoo but I don't judge anyone by any means based off having them. I don't think tattoos have the same rap they used to... now they are starting to be the norm.

I think that's wonderful. I agree that tattoos don't effect your parenting styles but I know not all people believe that.

Im 24 almost 25 with 2 kids and have tattoos  piercings and crazy colored hair im a stylist that works with kids and when people find out I have kids I get oh really you have kids...you don't look like you would have kids...I never get it?

I have several tattoos and my husband is heavily tattooed. We haven't had any issues with anyone

My parents are bother covered in tats and I don't think they've ever gotten much heat for it!

I have two currently & I have plans for so many more. If people are going to judge, they are not worth to be in your life. My son is no reflection of my ink, if he wants them when he's of age, the only advice I'll give is you will have it forever, think before you ink.
