How come when I sleep my period stops?

Every night I use a night pad and its always clean when I wake up, I thought it was over and then about half an hour it starts flowing regularly? 
Something wrong or why does this happens.

Its just the position  you are in stops it. Gravity is the reason that menstrual blood flows out. When you sleep, it is not always able to flow out. When blood is still for long periods of time it coagulates, or kind if gels up. That is most likely why it seems to "stop". Its completely normal
