Temping

When temping, I've read a lot of different components to it, and I'm just wondering what's the best.
I wake up a lot throughout the night. Sometimes just to roll over and fall right back asleep. Sometimes to get up and use the bathroom and go back to sleep. Sometimes it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours to fall back asleep.
I've read that you need at least 6 hours of sleep, and that you need to take your temp every morning at the same time as soon as waking up before getting out of bed. If I wake up sporadically throughout the night, what is the best method?
1)Take at the same time even though it may not have been 6 hours from the last time I woke up? (Example, last night I woke up at 4:39 ish to go pee, then woke up for the day at 7:15, same time I wake up every morning, including weekends).
2) If I go to bed and wake up at least 6 hours later, take it then even though it's not the same time every morning?
3) if I go to bed and wake up several times through out the night and don't get a full 6 hours in between any of my wake ups (most nights), when do I take it then?
