Concerned!! Had my first appointment today and I thought I was almost 6 weeks but the tech said I was only about 5 weeks which is fine but the doctor said she was concerned the heart rate was in the 70s. Has anyone had this and had a healthy baby?

5 weeks is still pretty early to even hear or get a heartrate. Typically they don't even get it until 6-8 weeks...hopefully it was just the technology and everything will be good at your next appointment.

My friend's sister had a scare like this. She was monitored for a few weeks and after some tension the baby is measuring fine with a strong heartbeat. I hope the same for you!

When the heart first starts beating, it starts low. I had a ultrasound at 5w5d, and nothing was seen but a sac and yolk sac. Went today at 7 weeks heartbeat and all.

On 12/11 baby was 6 wks 1 day and heart rate was 86 bpm... Had me very nervous! Had another ultrasound 12/13 and was already up to 105 bpm. You'd be surprised how fast it'll go up! Good luck.

Had my first appointment today, spotting for a few days. The midwife could't Find anything, next week i have to come back. I'm 6 weeks and 6 days. I'm so sooo scared!!
