Need help

Well this morning i was abouy to drop of my 5 year old at school but he say mom i pee in my pants on accident. So i took him home and changed his clothes, well he just texted me and asked me if i went home earlier today and i told him yes and explain and he was like you need to call me next time and let me know. Why should i its my house to and i pay the bills also. What should i do im confussed?
