Ex's name tattooed on the thigh... Help!

I broke up with my ex and every time I wear booty shorts it shows. I feel a bit anxious about it coz I'm on the dating scene again and I don't want to have this thing "Property of this and that" turning people off. I mean that tattoo in itself was a bad idea as I hadn't been even married to him.. Have you had your tattoo lasered or covered with a bigger one? How much was it and how long did it take to heal or fully cover?  Here's the tat with the name ( left thigh on the pic) the other one is a dream catcher
