Am I taking this too far?

I have an EXTREMELY low self confidence and I honestly hate the way I look. I'm begging to change that but right now im in a state of mind where no one can mess with my apprence. So today I sent my boyfriend a joke selfie where I used a funny feature to make my eyes look funny and I was like "tell me I'm beautiful" and he never said it... Even when I take really ugly ones and ased him to say it he would (I was 20 pounds lighter when I would do that) but today I'm just really hurt by him not saying it. Am I overreacting?

You're really putting him on the spot. and its like asking someone if  a pair of pants make you look fat........you just can't answer it correctly

If I received that, I'd just think you were captioning the picture something silly. I wouldn't say it either.

That doesn't mean that he doesn't think you're beautiful. If you want to hear it, tell him you need it. My guy never used to say things like that because he didn't know it matters to me.
