Custody in Florida

Okay, so today I got papers from her dad (she's 17 months) and he wants shared custody but he has never been there for her or done anything for her. He had a DUI from last year, right after she was born, I think July. I am an attachment mom and she is definitely a little mommas girl. She is still breastfeeding and has NEVER been away from me for more then 8 hours, while I wok. She still wakes up at night to nurse. I have never had anything like this so I have no idea how it all works. I'm so scared. I know I'm a great mom but he's a terrible father and I don't trust him with her alone at all. Does anyone have any advice on what I can do or even where to start? We were never married either.
