Didn't know my water broke

Last year I was dilating three days straight. Being my first pregnancy, I don't if that's normal. However on the third night I had to keep changing my underwear thinking I kept having little accidents(at least 6 times). The next morning I was still in pain but figured I wasn't going back to the hospital until I really knew. Talking to my mom that afternoon trying not to burst into tears, I told her about my long night and she was like "honey your water might have broke". I called the hospital and was advised to come in. So me and my SO rushed there to only be told they didn't know where the fluid was coming from. They allowed me to walk around the hospital for an hour, during which my SO marched me like a drill sergeant( I still laugh about it til this day I'm sure along with everyone else who heard him). Returned to get checked before being discharged and indeed my water bag was leaking. Labor was okay and when my SO seen his face come out first he said "Babe he has a face" in the most serious voice lol. Overall my experience has more laugh than tears.
