Would you care about the size of the ring or the love and effort behind it comment your response

My fiancé proposed with a simple blue sapphire on a gold band. Not at all what I had envisioned! But of course that's not what matters.

Once, a few weeks after, we were at a bar in out small town (everyone knows everyone). The bartender asked to see my ring and I said "it's not the biggest or anything..." My df got so upset! I apologized and never said anything like that again. Now, months later, I've come to really love this ring even though i would have chosen something else for myself.

In the end, I'd rather have the right man than the right ring.

I would have said yes to my husband with a ring pop! That man worked so hard to buy my ring and it means so much to me! Some women Say "better be at least one carat" but you know? It's the thought and effort behind it.

I think it depends on the situation. If my SO had plenty of money but just chose not to invest in a quality ring I think I'd be upset but if money was tight I wouldn't care.

It's the thought and love behind it not how much it costs. Personally I like simple. But if it was a big ring I'd love it just as much cuz my SO gave it to me and if he ever gave me a ring I'd say yes no matter what the size shape or color it wouldn't even have to be a diamond

Mine is simple and dainty just how like all my jewelry. I'm very petite so big and bulky would be too much on me I feel . I wanted my hubby to chose the ring but he insisted that I pick it out....It's even engraved inside. I love it. And it's kinda funny but every time we have it cleaned,I fall in love with it again!

I feel like size doesn't matter to me,  but my fiancé is the kind of guy who wanted to give me the best of everything. We work hard for what we have, but sometimes I wish he wouldn't focus on giving me the biggest and the best.. and just pick stuff out that I would love.

I would say yes. However my fiance put a lot of thought And effort into finding the perfect ring, which meant a lot to me. Nobody has put so much effort into making me happy than he does. I love the ring he got me, it is absoloutely perfect.

I always joke with my boyfriend that I want a huge diamond but the promise ring he gave me is an infinity ring made out of 2 hearts and I wouldn't trade it for the world, if he proposed with that ring I would've said yes a million times over
