Jinx Myself

I'm at least 4 days late for AF. I've been putting off testing because I'm terrified to jinx myself! I'm so afraid that the minute I go buy a test that AF will appear. Anyone else experience this fear? Trying to wait to test until Sunday but so scared after reading so many stories of ladies who missed AF, got their hopes up & had a BFN. Feeling extremely nervous, anxious, etc!
