Streak of blood

Tami • Married 8.20.11 DS 4.30.13 Trying for #2 since 9/14
Today when I wiped there was a small streak of blood inside some clear cervical mucus. I ovulated 8 days ago and have had a nagging pain  in my abdomen near my ovary.. I don't want to read into things but could this be my month? My period is due anywhere between the 18-23.. When should I test? Has this happened to anyone else?
