9dpo today, and I got the first response test which can detect 6 days before your period (which mine is expected Thursday 12/18) BFN. Wth :( am I out for this month???

"CAN detect" doesn't mean it always picks it up.

I got negative test with first response 2 days before AF was due. I then got positive 1 day after AF was due so it doesn't always pick it up

Your not out until af shows! It's still too early to test. Even with an early prediction test. Give it a few more days and test again.
