5w2d what can I take for cramps?

I am new to all of this and usually when I get cramps I take a few ibuprofen but I don't want to take anything that is harmful to the baby growing in there!

Any advice? They aren't really painful, just annoying and they are intermittent .. Its just late and I want to be able to get some sleep.

The only safe med is Tylenol. But you should avoid taking it if possible. Don't use a heating pad because they can cause the area to get too hot and cause problems for your baby

I have been having some cramps too and I'm 5w3d. Drinking water has helped me (dehydration can cause them) and if I take Tylenol I just take one pill (500mg). If anything it at least takes the edge off. Sometimes a warm shower can help too.

Maybe just to rest, relax, put your feet up and start drinking water? Water helps a lot of things & so does simply getting off your feet when you're pregnant ?
