Pain during sex?

Ok so my boyfriend and I have sex several times a day, everyday. He isn't that big but he is curved and has a peircing. I've had sex constantly before with my ex and I've never felt raw before. Could it be the peircing or the way he is curved? It hurts when he penetrates and during and of course after. Idk what it might be. Any others who might have similar experience??
