So confuse help me?

Question

So my boyfriend and I been together for 3years and he's 27 and I 25.. but anyway I haven't got my period since August 16, 2014  and now we're in December and I took two tests last month it said not pregnant . But I know I have in regular period the very first time I ever had my period I was 15 and a half now I am 25 and still my period still comes when it wants too... I don't know what to do?? I do want a baby but it's so hard for me to get pregnant.. so stressful and I don't think about the baby as much as I did before.. I just want a regular period is that so hard to ask? :(

Have you ever tried going on birth control even for a year just to regulate it? I used to have irregular ones too..I started at 12 and I have one one month then 2 months would go by & bam ..then I was put on the pill at 16 & around 17 switched to depo shot and after I got off birth control they started coming each month ..not always on time but I'd rather that than 2-3 months without one..
