TMI Question- Help!

So, about 4-5 days(give or take but not every time) before my period and sporadically throughout my cycle (not often), I get a really strong smell.. It's not normal for me usually.. I'm terrified of pelvic exams, and I am not sexually active. I have PCOS though.. I'm very clean, but it just happens.:( any ideas on what this could be???
