Heart broken

We have been TTC for 16 months and j recently was put on medication to regulate my prolactin levels. I really thought this was our month. I ovulated on a "normal day" this was my first nornal cycle since we started trying. Usually I am a day 18 ovulator and this cycle I was day 14. I got my period this morning. There is nothing else we can do but keep trying and the medication for my prolactin levels is not covered by the insurance company. How long do we continue this heart breaking cycle before we get fertility help?
