My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost 6 years now
My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for almost 6 years now. I had been diagnosed with Poly Cystic Ovarian Cysts about 8 years ago. About a year ago, my Obgyn doctor put me on hormone medicine. A few months after taking it, I suffered a miscarriage. We were devestated. We were so close. During the miscarriage, we discovered that a cluster of cysts had burst causing me to get really sick. My doctor had also found that due to PCOS, my right ovary had been getting attacked with all the cysts. She is afraid with the possibility of another miscarriage or added stress, all the cysts could pop and kill me or cause the right ovary to stop. We have talked about taking out the ovary, but she is afraid if they do, the left ovary will start getting attacked. My husband is afraid that if I start taking the fertility medicine again, it might be too much stress on my body. And without having periods, it causes more of a headache trying to track when I ovulate.
