Hyperemesis... How do you cope?

I have hyperemesis. I'm now 13w3 and I'm still throwing up/ nauseous all day everyday. I've been off work for 6 weeks now and I'm finding it quite depressing. I'm so thankful to be pregnant we couldn't be happier about that. I am in the house everyday by myself, I'm too scared to leave on my own for fear of being sick  everywhere. Anyone else in a similar situation? How do you cope?

I have just discovered peppermint tea which helps, while I'm drinking it anyway. Anything is worth 5 mins of relief x

I'm going out of my mind at home but there's 0 chance I could go back to work like this. I can't even leave my bed for longer than 30 mins most days ?

I have it :( im 14 weeks 2days and im as a sick as s dog! Im getting the picc like for zofran put in next week and iv fluids at home. I'm barley getting by and I have a 3 year old to take care of it is hard to get threw this. I drink lemon water and take my zofran but it's still not enough. Im down 35lbs from pre pregnancy weight.

Oh my gosh. I'm so glad I'm not the only one. I don't even have the energy to take a shower. If I take one I have to sit and it takes forever. Honestly I feel like crying. Especially now that I'm getting a cold on top of it. And my pharmacy is out of zofran.

It's really hard. I got diagnosed with this 4 weeks ago, spent 7 days in the hospital and now I carry around a bag of tpn nutrients with me. Everything I consume I throw up. I'm on 2 diff medications and still can't stand the nausea.

I felt like that post could have been written by me! 12 weeks along, and I've been on bedrest for going on my 7th week. I keep myself surrounded with pillows. I tried preggie pops but I even throw those up. I've been to the ER for fluids and I take Zofran (though it does little to help.) I eat small amounts of food all day in order to keep my stomach from being empty. I've found that showering and taking a small walk outside sometimes helps. (Very small walk. Like to the mailbox.) Also, gross as it sounds, watch your BMs and make sure they're regular. I wish I could help. I'm still trying to cope, too. You aren't alone. :-(
